Wouldnt touch a bleed valve personally due to boost spikes etc and danger of det and running lean with no map to compensate!

If you still have the original boost control then it will do squat....as the it'll just cause the purge solonoid to close for longer durations to cut the boost back down to factory pressures. Except you get boost spikes, as the wastegate will struggle to re-gain control on spool up.

Replace the factory boost control system with an after market solution such as an electronic boost controller or a dawes device is a way around this...unless you want to do the job properly and get the ECU remapped

Dawes is a fancy bleed valve.

Do it properly and ether get a replacement ecu or at least use somthing like an Apexi boost controller.

The problem is that bleed valves dont account for the extra fuel you need to run more boost which can cause issues.
