How loud is it compared to a car with the resonator box remove.

I had a 57i on my old Series 1 Turbo, it was alot more hissy, but not induction roary like an old twin carb.

i have the blitz, it is quiet but you get more dump valve noise
very nice filter, and you get rid of the air box allowing more room
in the engine bay,i wouldnt go back?

Arn't there now 2 versions of the Blitx filter i.e the standard one and a budget one.

My K&N 57i was so hissy I took it off and put an ITG panel in. It was louder than my (admittedly quiet) decat exhaust below 4000rpm. I was wondering how loud removing the resonator was, but the description sounds quite like an induction kit. Still can't decide overall if the K&N actually gave me any power or not. It certainly sounded fast. I wondered if it was slower low down, but then thought not. I THINK I lost a tiny bit at the top end by removing it which I seem to have regained most of with the ITG panel.

I have been looking at reviews of the 57i all day, as I am looking to purchase a filter of some sort relatively soon, and it seems everyone has complained about the noise. Some people like the noise, and it truly bothers some. I myself really don't care, whatever gives the best performance is good for me. However, I'm not to keen on removing the air box because of warranty issues (which is also why I'm afraid to buy an exhaust). I'm supposing if you don't mind noise, the 57i is a good filter. My only problem is that it's pink
