i've not been brave enough to try anything other than a full scoobysport system on my MY01 yet.
would apprecaite it if you'd let me know how you get on.
cheers,

The MY01 is reputed to have smaller injectors, and the I-club guys do not like running much over 15-16 PSI. They are quite keen on exhaust gas temperature probes and see big temps on part throttle high boost conditions. They have improved this with a bleed valve after the MBC, but many have gone back to stock setups.
You would need for minimum monitoring a boost and lambda gauge, and I would say also a run on a select monitor to see how much your ECU could retard the ignition further for safety. A run on a rolling road would also possibly be useful esp if someone could listen with det cans also. Not to put you off - you could probably get good results, but like any mod I would rather overcheck things are safe than risk it, especially if other owners have had problems.
On MY00 and before it seems to work incredibly well with no issues as far as I can see (I run 18PSI held and all the safety data checks out fine, but I only cranked it up this high when I knew this to be the case on my car), but I don't think many UK 01 owners have tried it yet.
