Default gearbox frame bolts

can any body tell me the size of the front gearbox under frame bolts as when i changed the clutch i threaded one of them

iirc M12 but a FINE thread.
These are special in as much as you won't buy them from Halfords.

I stripped one of mine ages ago and borrowed a tap and tapped the bodyshell thread with ease (and relief) as the bolt was ok.

You can get them from a dealer, or call David at Welcome to the API website as he will have millions of them.

Matey if its stripped the bolt threads - replace it. I did the same to mine and nearly ripped the gearbox frame off at the startline of a quarter-mile run. Grab a 19mm socket and ratchet - go out in the middle of the night and steal a wheel-bolt off a pug 306 or whatever - they fit a beauty. Or buy one.
