Problems with connecting DCCD??

Hi guys
A friend of mine is encountering some problems with connecting the DCCD Ecu on his car.
I got him a V5 RA box with DCCD. The DCCD Ecu might be from a V3 though.
Rigtht now he is trying to get the controller working but it does not.
When we check the voltage on the lines the always stay on the same?
(Around 13 something)
Shouldn't this go down to zero the more you turn the wheel?
What could be the problem?
Any help appreciated.
Cheers

I have a circuit diagram I used to wire-in my DCCD off a V3 to a V5 dccd on an Sti V3!
The voltage to the dccd on the box should go up and down with the wheel, not sure if it is Zero to '12v' or something to'12v'.
I will send you the details tonight as I'm at work now.
You could easy have the wires wrong though the 2 to the dccd are simple, most of the others do the dash lights which I dispensed with.
Mine worked first time out so I'm sure yours will do to. Have you checked for resistance change as you rotate the wheel from the switched position?
Graham.

Hi i work 4 a performance car shop and have encontered quite a few dccd transplants. there are quite significant differences in the control ecu`s throughout the modles and can be a hedache. If u can let me know the number of plugs on the dccd ecu and the number of wires coming from each plug should be able 2 send u an accurate wiring diagram

22B Bulletin Board: Anyone have the dccd wiring diagram?
Try this. Look at the John Felstead comment and the link.
John is THE dccd expert in the UK.

I will go through it with my friend.
We already had that wiring diagram.
Let's just hope it can actually work together and nothing is broke.
Thanks so far for the help.
