Default need some info?????

hi people... im am new to the impreza scene, ive just bought a n reg impreza 2L gl wagon manual uk model, now ive been offered a wrx wagon with an auto box import model rolling shell, now i am wondering if the setup is the same... ie rear diff, shock absorbers and exshaust... reason being is that my rear diff whines at speeds over 30 mph and the front shocks bounce about a bit... now ive been offered this wrx for £300 if i take the engine out, but i need to know whether the parts will fit.... so any info would be great... many thanks

yeah i took the engine out tuesday and gave him £300 for the rest, from what i can see the only differance on the rear diff is it has disc breaks on the wrx where as mine is drum... so if you or anyone you know wants parts let me know....

so basically all you needed was the rear diff and shox the rest of the car was a bonus. the shocks will go on ok so should the rear hubs, the diff will fit but the ratio should match with your old diff otherwise you could create more problems. i know there are a few different diffs about.

if you have a 2.0 uk im sure you would need a diff from the same car, as the uk car as slightly longer ratio's,the wrx as a shorter ratio gearbox that is matched to the rear diff. this is on turbo cars though,i aint sure what gearbox's are on the 2.0.

hopefully someone on here with a bit more knoledge will enlighten you on the diff ratios and what diff you need to use.
