Dear All,
I am getting a high pitched whistling noise coming from the mid/back end of the car (at tickover).
I can’t hear the noise from the engine bay, but only from behind the engine.
The exhaust is standard up to the backbox (Prodrive). I have also noticed that condensation (or anther liquid substance) drips from the join at the backbox, is this normal?, do the cats on theses Scooby’s whistle?.

Hi,

If you are getting condensation dripping from the join, all is not well. Probably got a slight leak. Check for carbon deposits as well which will give away the leak point.

If in doubt, take it apart, sand down the surfaces and reseal it with exhaust assembly paste or similar.

Should do the trick.

Have you checked for signs of Roger Whittaker in the drivetrain

Could be a leak I spose, my high pitched whistle that I thought was coming from under the car turned out to be a hole in my intercooler
