Did you bleed and change the clutch fluid for at least Dot 4 or 5 level?

This level is far more resistant to the heat.
If the clutch was slipping after several gear changes it simply is hot and looses friction.

What clutch was it you had?
Was it a heavy duty one?
On the start do you rev hard and literally dump the clutch without ANY slip?

Graham.
