Straight cut PPG gear set will do the trick...speak to Mark at Lateral or Paul at Zen Performance, iirc they are circa £3k.

I'm running on the 500 mark and must admit I'd be dubious of adding more on UK 6 speed...heard they'll do 600 bhp maybe but I've already had syncro problems.
You're really looking at a custom build everything motor for a "reliable" 700bhp daily motor.
I'm about to uprate my engine and gearbox mounts again as they dont like 500 ft/lb torque....you'll need mounts made from rock to hold everything in line with that power figure...
Didn't RCM have a 700+ scoob? Is that one reliable?

At 700bhp are the PPG rated at that much? I know Steven Darley has been breaking them at around 550bhp IIRC, but he does seem to be more brutal than others with the transmission

Someone else can maybe confirm which Gearbox/Gearset Steven has been running?

thanks for the replys guys...
the car will do the odd track day but mostly its a road car with NO full bore launches so it might last a while on standard stuff.
Just looking to see whats avail for when it does break.

I find it hard to believe that anyone would want a 700bhp scooby for the road. 450/450 ish is surely the useable limit. Anything above that gets really really expensive and stops the car from being 'just driveable' IMO.
Albeit they are road useable:
I am sure AndyF doesnt just nip down the shops in his, he would take the Spec C.
I am sure Zen dont drive everywhere in the Zen Impreza, they take the 4WD (or whatever it is - sorry Paul/Liz)
and I am sure that the Gobstopper gets partially stripped between events and wrapped in cotton wool rather than parked down the local Asda.
and you're right Graham - full bore launch has to be tried once

I have to agree, mine at 500 mark is just not an every day car...the petrol (plus the fuel additive at each fill up) plus £150 tyres (each), plus the water tanks etc, takes longer to get my car out of the garage than the journey - although it is fun making up lost time
I have a little eco car to try and prevent fuel pumps in the UK going dry...
