I've just read that fitting a quickshift to an MY96 might not be such a good idea. Is this true?

I read that the quickshift can beat the gearbox, so i presume from that remark that a boxfull of neutral gears could be a possibility.

Enlightenment required!

BTW - I was thinking of having the full quickshift kit fitted and not just the lever, would this make a difference?
