I'm in the process of replaceing my gearbox and not long ago replaced my clutch.
I had a few problems when replaceing it with the spline in the centre of the clutch plate that connects to the box, I think the wrx one had one more tooth than the RA version?
Can someone confirm this for me please.
I don't want to really replace my clutch again as its less than a 1000 miles and want to keep costs to a minimum.
Jusr wondering what boxes will fit straight in other than the RA.
Sorry for the long thread people, hope someone can help me.
Thanks
Ian

I wonder which one I had then???
I ordered an Exedy clutch off ebay (pink box) told them the year etc and when it came to fit the clutch the the centre spline had 1 too many teeth or one too less.
I told the bloke who I was dealing with and he seemed to know what was wrong and replaced it with the correct one.
Do the splines differ in the later models then, or uk/JDM? Did I get a clutch from a later year.
Idealy I should get the RA box again which would go straight in but I was sick of the constent motorway noise and gear changes.
