I've had a trawl through the rubbish new search and cant find anything that I'm after, so I'm going to go for it and risk getting flamed for asking something thats probably been asked a thousand times already:
I'm thinking about getting a new car next year (v9/v10 or dare I say it.... an Evo8) but I think my clutch is ready for replacing.
Now I know generally next to nothing about cars other than how to treat them properly (bathing, no abuse, few kisses now and then) and how often to get stuff replaced.
What I don't know is which clutch to get for my car?
Its a standard engined 280bhp v4 wrx. I have no other plans for modding it, but I want to replace anything that needs replacing with something worthwhile, good for the car, but that won't skint me when you take into consideration i'll be selling next year.
So can I get some ideas of what to get in it and if ya know the approx cost with fitting, that would be appreciated too.
Thanks in advance everyone.

for 280bhp the standard exedy will hold without problem, think they are about £160-200 if you shop around. Up to 350bhp the exedy organics are the ones of choice (just under £300).
If you want to go more on a budget I bought a stage 1 organic clutch from gripforce in the USA for a 320bhp GTO about 18 months ago, it was only about £120 and its a great clutch. They do scooby stage 1's for under £100 with the current dollar rate, made in japan apparently.
Alternatively I got an organic FTO clutch from a company called techniclutch (they sell on ebay much cheaper than their website) they do scooby clutches for £195 stage 1 organic for up to 340bhp. The FTO is standard but the clutch feel is awesome, never slips either. I have read on lancer and skyline forums mixed opinion on techniclutch though.
