Hii ive got a 1992 GT Legacy, its got screweed up synchros etc and was quoted at least $1000 to fix. I was wondering what gearboxes would fit my car and how can i tell if it will fit because that could be a cheaper option than getting it fixed.

I was thinking maybe a gearbox from a later model subaru.. maybe a wrx, whatever fits.
