Default Impreza and legacy box's

Ok so up until this weekend at Japshow I was under the impression the Impreza was 60/40 split with 60 to the rear and 40 to the front, untill a friend mentioned about the Legacy GT being a 60/40 split like the above, and the Impreza was the other way round.

Now this has comfused me somewhat.

I ask, because I have a TY752VBAAA box which comes from the 94/95 Legacy RS and GT in the my 95 Impreza. So have I put my Impreza to how it should be for an AWD car or not?

Oh the noobish confusion I have going on in my head.

Cheers

Rich

AFAIK, Subaru split is 50:50. Only with other split is the DCCD boxes, which came with 35:65 and 45:55.
