After fitting a new clutch and flywheel I noticed that there was a humming noise on overrun. The noise is more audible at 30 mph in 3rd-4th gear and the noise is not there constantly, it is more of a hum/vibration noise that lasts a few seconds then goes but is there everytime I lift my foot off the gas pedal.
I did have a small issue with the rear diff but this has now been changed (thanks JBJ).
Now after changing the diff this has solved the other issues and some of the noise but I can still hear a humming noise on overrun.
My instinct is that the bearings on the output shaft may be worn but hope that someone can give me some suggestions on anything elso to check.
