Hi guys
just lost 3rd so looking for another gearbox
i had a TY752VB3FA and have been offered a TY754VN5AA,
now is this a direct fit or do i need to change diffs and shafts etc, i believe the new box is from a newage impreza and mine was a 96 classic.
also does anyone know how this gearbox will perform compared to my old one.
thanks

VB754 will go in place of VB752, providing the rear diff matches.
VN754 will go straight in place of a VN752 with no worry at all.
VB3FA is a straight WRX box with a 4.1 diff ratio in the front. You can fit - if you can find one :- 752VB3BA, 752VB3CA, 752VB4AA, 752VBCBA, with no worries - straight in.
OR IF you can find one, 754VB1AA but that is from a JDM 99 WRX wagon [not STi ] and is quite a rare car anyway.
Or call me and l'll talk recon costs etc. etc.,
