Default Does 5th gear ever let go?

I was driving along recently and put my foot down while in fifth, I have PPG 1-4 with standard 5th, now will full boost on a large turbo worry 5th, or is it the lower gears that are more prone to shredding?

5th gear is only realy used when going pretty quick, even at high power the energy is disapated quick enugh to reduce load on the box so not to worry 5th gear.

thast as i understand it anyway

I broke 5th gear twice, so yes they do fail. Saying that later box's have 5mm key on 5th gear, the early one's had a 4mm key and that tends to be a weak point.
