Hello all,
was pulling away from the lights this morning in 1st gear in my 1994 Turbo 2000, wasn't giving it anything, went to put it into 2nd at about 2-3k revs and it just crunched, put it back into 1st and pulled over. It will only go from 1st to neutral now and no other gear, the clutch is fine as i drove it up the steep flat bed and it pulled as normal.
I'm wondering if its a new gearbox or maybe (i hope!) the linkage.
Whats the sort of price for a gearbox on a car of this age/model?
Thanks,
Mike

Well, I've been given the quote from Cotswold Subaru @ Witney, Oxon. Aprox. £990inc vat for cambelt, tensioner and gearbox repair.
Given them the go-ahead.
