Hi
Just ran into a very cocky workshop manager, who refuses to believe that it is a bad idea to overfill with engine oil.
What are the main reasons for this being bad for the car (big-end bearing falure, boost-controll solenoid contamination etc.).
Thanks

Boost Control Solenoid and associated pipe contamination/blockage (and if I was a Subaru dealer, I could pull out the IM Technical Buletin which says so ![Wink](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)
)
Also, check out the SIDC FAQ and look at Wastegate Solenoid.
