brought a very clean low milage 1993 subaru wrx,got it on thursday and gearbox started to whine real bad by monday gave it some as was pissed off and it knw makes a banging noise in all gears,the gearbox as gone big time.gearbox code is ty752vb3aa will other gearboxs fit or if i get a different gearbox will i need both diffs also hard hard are they to fit.any info would be great

you can fit newer gearbox rear diff does help but not essental

Just make sure the final drive ratio of the gearbox and rear diff are the same or you will have a problem.

thanks for that info. thats wot it thought the first and final drive ratio have to have the same ratio

can get a cheap box the code is Ey-ty752vn3ba it came off a turbo 2000 m reg.the first and final drive are the same but been told it wont work any info please
