Hi guys I have blown the gearbox in my STI RA.
A friend of mine has a Spec C and I like his gearing, it's very simular to my ra ratios.
My question is are the ratios in the spec c unique to the spec c?
Your help would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Dylan.

No, the ratios in the Spec C is same as the regular JDM STIs. They are different (shorter ratios) from the Euro/UK STIs though.

5th and 6th are different, 1-4 are the same, but due to the rev limit on a uk car, they go to about the same mph anyway
though you do get the quick shift with the spec c ![Big Grin](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

I guess because you own a MY03 car, you aren't too bothered about the hawkeyes.

Do the Spec Cs come with different gear linkages? I thought all 6 speeds come with standard linkages? The quick shift linkages are an option part from STI?

Having said that, the shifts on my 07 Spec C does feel tighter than a 07 UK STI.
