Classic TY52VN6AA direct replacment for TY754VN1AA ?
Hi
I think I have a noisy centre diff on my MY99 G/box and found a complete box and diff from a MY98 but that has a TY52VN6AA g/box v's the TY754VN1AA.
Could this be a direct replacement for mine keeping my existing rear diff prop ?.
Also is it be possible to use the diff on the TY52 on my TY754 i.e direct swap ?. This would be an easier and cheaper solution if it is as I believe the diffs can be replaced with the g/box in situe ?.
Many thanks for any help/advice.

I think you'll find that the 752 fails quite quickly and you'll be back to square one.
But to answer your question; yes it will fit straight in without any need to worry about the rear diff or shafts or anything.
We supply recon 754's with a warranty but it may not fit your budget.
Call me on 01926 614522 if I can help.

No they are completely different. I can get a NEW 754 type centre viscous. They can be fitted without taking the box out, it is something we do regularly these days.

Ok thanks again - TBH the car owes me very little and I'm the **** end of the country compared to you, so both cost and more realitically distance makes it a little unviable to ask for your services....
But I appreciate your willingness to post and thoughts/help with this even though there is probably no sale it in for you.
In consideration of everything now - I think I'll probably either sell the car as a going concern, or just keep running with it until it fails completely, then either break it or sell it for spares of repair.
It took me on a 400 mile round trip yesterday, and a 200 mile round trip the week before on business and was ironically in your kneck of the woods at time. Within a normal week I might only do 30 miles or so, so it could keep plodding on for a while yet. In the meantime I'll just try and convince myself the whine/grinding is a PPG gearbox of something
