So who has replaced a 752VN with a TY754VN1AA on a classic?

So who has replaced a 752VN with a TY754VN1AA on a classic?
Just asking as I am about to attempt the same on a UK MY97 and am looking ahead for the pitfalls. I have replaced two classic gearboxes before. Simple like for like swaps, so have a pretty good idea of the basics. I am more interested in specifics such as
one of the starter bolt holes needs tapping in the 754?
Anything else?
Ok to run on the existing uk rear diff?
Gear shift linkages?
Electrical connectors?
All help appreciated, especially from peeps who have done the job.

That's one of the things I am asking. I was under the impression that all the uk classics (except the P1) used the same 3.545 diff, so theoretically going from a 752VN5BA to 754VN1AA is ok on the same rear diff?

Having had a quick look at a TY754VN1AA it looks like a straight swap apart from the starter stud. I take it everyone else has tapped it to a loooong M12 (to allow for the 11mm hole being a bit large for an M12) and drilled a clearance hole in the starter flange to pass an M12 bolt thru then?
Even the selector linkages look the same. The electrics look like they will plug straight in too.

Fitted today. Apart from the starter stud the only other problem was lack of clearance at the TD04 turbo on original manifold. Resolved by taking an angle grinder to the additional (unrequired) bolt hole on the clutch housing, no biggy. Retained the original 3.545 diff and have completed 30 odd miles vigorous test driving and everything seems good.
