Hello!

going for a full decat on thursday, but am a little worried that it may be a bit (max power) !!

Any comments on sound power etc also its a wagon with a dog in the back on ocassions.

Also car still has subaru proven warranty i know that this will invalidate it but not on all parts on the car is that correct.

Cheers

Rottie, I've got one on my 99, and I love it. Yes it is louder, but the extra grunt is well worth it, and besides a Scooby needs to be loud

Never been in a wagon with one,so can't tell you what that is like.

Also, I've never had a problems with parts under warranty, but none of them have ever related to the exhaust - and this may be down to the dealer concerned.

Hope this helps

Matt,

what dealer do you use if you dont mind telling. Bought my car from CD Bramall in Cheltenham but decat is being done at Listers in Worcester.

I just ordered a Scoobysport downpipe and backbox for my Legacy, I asked for a 'quiet' version which they do to order, given that I don't have many choices, this seems like a good way to go.

Will find out what 'quiet' means when i get it on the car.

Thumbs up

I'm running a Wagon with the full Scoobysport system, and the sound isn't too bad on the motorway at a steady 80 mph. Most people comment about it to begin with, and after a few minutes, get used to it and just talk away or listen to the stereo as normal.

However, if you want to put your foot down a bit and enjoy the car then it makes a superb sound, and becomes quite addictive!

The added benefit of the wagon, is that you can hear it popping and banging more than you can in a normal Scooby, and you'll soon learn to drive without the stereo on and getting it on over-run!!
