Picture request, JDM STI-7 "restrictor location"
#1
Hi guys,
I have tried to find out where the restrictor is on a STI-7; however, since I don't have a clue what one looks like I can't find it.
Can someone please post a real life pic of a STI-7 engine bay and indicate where the restrictor is please. Another pic of the removed restrictor would be real nice as well, but I won't push my luck
Huge thanks
Ray

No pic. But its real easy to find.
When the car's cold, look for the turbo. See the outlet that goes to the intercooler? Just before it joins the flexible piece, there is a small tap-off? This tap off is a "T", leading to the wastegate actuator and other branch leading to the boost solenoid, The rubber piece in this tap off, before the T-piece.
If you can touch/press the T between your fingers, you should be able to feel the buldge which is the actual restrictor.
