Just wondering what effect a worn or leaking standard DV will have on the engine/driveability? what sort of symptoms should I look fof?

Cheers

I had a leaking dumpvalve on my MY97 UK Turbo. It gave off the infamous 'blowing over the milkbottle' noise under light throttle. I had it replaced with a Forge vent to atmosphere one and noticed much better pickup through the gears (probably due to losing boost). It now make a nice sound now aswell! ;-)
