At a rough guess it looks like a hawk STI diff. What is the ratio stamped on the crown wheel. I am assuming its an R180?

Hi, it is 4.44, it is not an open diff, I hope, because open diffs look different, or am I wrong? also Viscous LSDs have a complete sealed enclosure, so could it be a plated diff, is this how a plated diff look like?

It is an R160 and comes from a Legacy BH5, I assume it is not a helical LSD either??

It does look like a plated diff, the plates look vidible through the round holes. Can you post more pics and better shots of the holes which will show the plates and the ones nearer the crown wheel which will show the ramp mechanism.
