Default GB270 ARB & lowering springs

Hi,
Does anyone know what rear ARB the WRX GB270 - New Impreza GB270 - uses? In the brochure it mentions "rear uprated ARB"; I wonder if it is the same as the 'normal' WRX's...
Also are the lowering springs the prodrive ones? It is interesting as they lower the front by 2/3cm and the rear by 1cm only which would be ideal for the wagon for loading purposes

EDIT: Sorry, this was posted in the wrong section, can someone move it under the Suspension section please

Rear arb is a 20mm STi one. Springs are Eibach, made to Prodrive's spec and are indeed the Prodrive kit.

Great! Do you work for subaru?
I phoned a dealer and they are still trying to find out as the car has just been released...

Been down and viewed one this afternoon. The GB 270 is very nice. But it's got the normal WRX Brakes and does not look all that special.

That being said it is parked next to the new Impreza..........................

Very mixed emotions. Plastic are a bit well ...........pooh really and the build does seem a bit cheap.............. having seen one in the flesh now..............hmmmmmmmm No. Sorry not my bag at all.

Nope, but Mike Wood at Prodrive who designed the suspension kit is a long standing acquaintance, and as I have just had the first GB270 wagon allocated to me I have a vested interest

Any more spec questions I can probably answer them before the dealer

I just measured the standard ARB of my '07 wagon and it is 17mm.
Will I need different mounts to fit the GB270 ARB (20mm) or not?

To confuse things even more I phoned Subaru in Carlisle and was told that the part number for the GB270 rear ARB is 20451FE010 but they weren't sure of its diameter.
I then phoned Subaru Greece and was told that the 20451FE010 corresponds to the rear ARB of the WRX wagons from 00-07! He had one in stock and he measured it 17mm, in other words the same as mine!

Could someone owning a GB270 wagon please measure their rear ARB as I am confused. Either the part no. I got for the GB270 is wrong or they have the same ARB as the standard WRX.

Thanks a lot.

The newage saloon WRX & STi rear ARB is 20mm but due to the track it is wider and is not a direct fit onto a wagon. I managed to fit an STi bar onto my 03 wagon (17mm BTW), but needed to use thick wire whiteline links to make it work.
The newage wagon track is the same as the old classic saloon track - so my guess is that the GB270 uses a 20mm classic STi bar.
It would be a lot cheaper to source one from a breakers than buy a new one.
You'll need new rubber bushes.
