Default JDM Mapped by Andy Forrest Advice..

on the look out for my next scoob and always wanted a JDM in white
found this
http://www.pistonheads.com/classifie...xperiment=true

it has an andy forrest map which you can vary between 267 - 347 bhp. just wondering what your thoughts are on his maps and does anyone know the car on her?
obviously i love the 347 power but my worry would ridicolous MPG. I have always got over 24mpg which I can live with but anything less would upset me

MPG would depend on how heavy your foot is. Im sure if you drive it like a grandma you will get a lot more than 24, If you put your foot down you will get a heap less.
My old engine with around 350hp was the same as stock if i drove normally!

Thats good to know, my best ever was with the new 2011 shape, without selecting sports sharp I could get a 32mpg on the M4!
not that im buying one again for MPG but it does help when you need to go any great distance ha

Like Dave said above, Andy is one of the best in the business.

You never buy a Subaru in the hope you'll get great MPG.

Did you buy the car?
All I would say take your time and get the right car,it'll be worth the wait. Have a good look around and check everything out ie history, engine, bodywork,Dealer ect ect
Good luck in your search
