Default Tried to connect Link MY99 to Laptop-Car wont start

My Link has performed faultlessly for 15 years .

My hand controller has given up , so I attempted to connect my laptop using PCLINK .
Could not as connectors were not compatible .
This morning tried to start , but would not fire , even though turn over was robust -new battery.

Attempted battery disconnect , but that made no difference.

Any recommendations guys?

Should have a black coms box to go onto end of ribbon cable that goes to either rs232 or usb

Sounds like the Ecu is dead

On eBay just now there is a my99 link g1 ecu

Transfer the chip over and away you go
