Default Oil temp gauges not working

I have a set of defi gauges and toucan display with a syvecs ecu on my 2004 sti.

On start up, the oil temp gauge on the defis is reading 0 and flashing red light.
On the toucan, the oil temp goes straight to 120deg and stays there?

I have an oil temp sensor in the bung on the back of the block but also have 2 sensors that sit behind the alternator on a T piece? I assumed they were for the oil pressure and oil temp for ecu?

I dont understand why either the 2 sensors have failed at same time or if the defi and toucan run off same sensor, why is one reding 0 and one reading 120?
