Newb with Bug sti
Morning everyone, hope all had a good Christmas and are going to have a great New year.
I am Craig, I have just bought a wrb Bugeye Sti prodrive model, my first Scoob and am looking forward to hopefully joining in with some of the meets and what not as love getting out in the car as much as possible.
Haven't stopped grinning since bringing it home in all honesty.
I am in Eastwood near Southend so depending on where others are based may see each other's cars floating around in surrounding areas.
Bring on the meets
Craig

Thanks for the welcomes, appreciate it
Ah yes pics, well unfortunately the only pics I've got of it at present are in the dark
Just got it home after giving it a clean as we've been out in it a fair bit today so thought it deserved a quick clean at a friends yard but forgot to take the snaps in the light..
I will try to get some tomorrow (weather permitting) and will post up the better ones when done
Cheers,
Craig

Ah yeah I remember that one there too. I don't think he lives in the same house I think he was just using that driveway although I may have that wrong.
Yeah mine is my first impreza, initially wanted a blob but when I saw this bug I just had to have it.
Pretty much standard if totally honest, has a stainless exhaust but other than that as it came.
Good starting platform for me which is nice.
What have you got at the moment then?

Yeah I noticed it the night before we got ours, just sitting there looking very nice which made me want mine even more lol
They should come with a warning notice, may suffer from jaw ache from all the grinning faces you pull it's all I've been doing whilst driving around lol.

Either way it makes me smile so it's all good there!
I'm starting to get the feeling that maybe the Bugs aren't as rare as I was told they were (or at least in the Essex region lol)
Thanks for the welcome

Ok so a genuine quick question and I think I probably know the answer already but how do I go about getting the pictures and so on like you guys have under my username on my profile section on my posts?
(The coloured model of scoob with sti or wrx under it and so on?)
Is it all membership related?

The signature and all that jazz can be done under your USER CP.
This is at the top of the page, far left of orange tab.
As for photos, create a Photobucket account and upload your images.
Once uploaded you will see there is various boxes, one will be marked IMG and have a link in text format that will look something like this.
[IMG]http://img.photobucket.co/albums/v208frayz55/7E3A7890-878F-43C7-9B37-6E6FAFC36415_zpsjzmykbya.jpg[/IMG
Copy and paste the photo link above into the text box on here of the images you want to include.
Hope that helps.

Ah so do more options become available once a paying full member?
It's more like the img of your black bug with sti under it where others have blue, silver, or a blob or classic is their colours to suit??
Really like that.
Ah so this forum is photo bucket pictures, right, have to try to resort my account as it went a bit off a while ago and kept linking up doubles of the pictures which meant it was either invalid file or remote file too large as was trying to do it twice automatically.
I'm not much of a computer person myself so will sort it and get some pics up when I can then.
Cheers Frayz.

According to the site below their was not many registered of the uk spec, and the bug only being made for two years and replaced by the blob, lot of people don't like the bug for its looks?
