Pat Herborn Mapping, Opinions please
Alright chaps,
Hopefully i wanna get the scoob mapped in the new year, and im probably gonna go to see Paul at XS as he seems very helpful and all round jolly nice bloke.
However i dont know too much about this Mr Herborn fella who i understand does the mapping. There seems to be an awful lot of other mappers talked about on SN but not much mention of Pat.
Those of you that have had him map your cars,
What were youre results like? on which car?
Are you totally happy?
Anythin you dont like?
Anyone else you recomend?
What should i expect from a Fully decatted 02 STi with a decent panel filter?
Anythin else i need?
With the help of some overtime in the new year she should see a few extra ponies
Cheers peeps
Frayz..

Pat has been a mate of mine since 1997 when I had my first scooby. We practically lived opposite each other!
He mapped my last STi at it was perfect. **** Link always stayed Green, never had an issue.
So yes he is top quaility, go for it.

Pat remaped my 93 import turbo, from 227bhp he got it up to 283.5bhp and said it could go more but one of the coilpacks is playing up.
He reckons when i get new coilpacks he could get 300bhp, thats with full exhaust from turbo back, manifold, apexi air filter, hks bov.
He was very helpfull and cheap, he done my car at www.surreyrollingroad.co.uk
with a guy called chris.

Pat has mapped my scoob with each set of modifications, has been spot on everytime, nice guy too.
I while back I read a post on scoobynet that read 'Pat is god', written by a pleased customer. Probably overstates it a bit, but he is good and you will not be disapointed.

Bob Rawle was responsible for all the mapping on my STi 6 Wagon which was a past Scooby Shootout winner and went on to produce 585 bhp on 2 litres. I am now running in another 2 litre engine in the same Wagon with Bob doing the mapping again and we expect to achieve a reliable 600 plus bhp.
The 585 bhp engine did something like 35000 miles and was still running when removed from the car.
