I've just bought something!!!!!!
Just ordered a set of these

17" Gunmetal.
Tyres on my car are barely road legal and the groupbuy was too good to resist, should be able to sell my old alloys on Ebay for a little bit of cash.
So the difference between the groupbuy and having to buy replacement tyres will be next to nothing

I nearly went for the Rota 18"'s in a group buy in Nov, but my missus baulked at the suggestion
Am conjuring up ways to persuade her otherwise as reckon I could get a few quid for the std 17" STI wheels like you suggest on Ebay or similar.
See you seen to admire your work

Took a while to persued her that it actually made sense. But if I get OK money for my old wheels it will only work to be about £25 per corner for new alloys over what I was going to pay for tyres anyway!!
+ the fact that when we went shopping (for her) I kerbed one of my alloys, not too badly but I was pissed off at the time, she then stopped the dissapproving comments!

Seen a few selling, so it shouldn't be a problem.

Spoiler is on and sprayed (just the end's) - I love it!!
Off to Scoobyclinic tomorrow (leaving at 4:30am, so feels like today!!!)
Broke the gearbox 3 weeks ago following Betts, so been sitting on the drive over Christmas - I have washed and waxed it 3 times so far, really gagging to drive it again - been driving my Dad's 1.25 Fiesta cos he won't let me use his V6 Omega, can't think why
Car is on the trailer and getting pulled by my mates V8 Discovery with 2" lift and 300 mudplugger tyres, mucho fun off road!!
Hopefully driving the Scoob home with fresh P1 box, new rear discs and pads, and maybe a bigger shopping list
See you soon mate

Just got a phone call from my mum and dad saying that my wheels have arrived
Ordered yesterday arrived today TOP work (26 hour turn around)
Really chuffed, can't wait to pick them up and get them back to mine. Might have to leave work early today.
