at the autosport show i found a stand in the kart section that had karts with subaru names all over them after introducing myself and nicci as subaru drivers we got involved in a long talk about karting until wayne (the rep) said he will be taking a kart and engines to lakeside. lets just say once he said that i knew were i was going last friday. as i showed so much interest he then invited me along to the testing of the old lakeside kart against a subaru engine equipped kart the out come was that the subaru kart had a lot more pick up out of the corners but topped out at the same as the honda engine kart

obviously my turn in the kart got a serious thumbs up from me

the only reason nothing was said prior to going was that i was asked to keep it lo key by the rep

the feed back was good from the owners of lakeside kart place and it was said that at some time later in the year that they will be looking to replacing the fleet of karts

and i will stay in touch with the rep to find out if any other kart centres change over to subaru power karts

also the subaru karts are 4 sale in a complete kart with engines for about £2400

any one got too much money out there lol
