The reason for that was that one of our (calor) tankers rolled on it's side on the Hanningfield road, the fire brigade put up a 400m exclusion zone and evacuated nearby houses, part of the new A130 was in this zone, so the police made sure they were around, just in case a major incident happened and needed to close it off.

nah, by the time I got there, the minibulk (18 tonne vehicle with a payload of 12.5 tonnes of commercial grade propane) had been recovered, all I had to do was to clear the contaminated turf, and make a temporary repair to the hedgerow, as the field is used for livestock, not bad, got paid for 5 hours, and only actually done 2 hours a bit more money for the Nurburgring trip
