Default police checks A130 new road

Looks like the police are out in numbers on the new A130 & surrounding areas today so be warned.

To be honest they are along there so often that I just poodle along as a matter of course nowadays, not worth the risk.

yeah was on it earlier today police helecopters and patrol units shame i was in the mood 4 a burn

The reason for that was that one of our (calor) tankers rolled on it's side on the Hanningfield road, the fire brigade put up a 400m exclusion zone and evacuated nearby houses, part of the new A130 was in this zone, so the police made sure they were around, just in case a major incident happened and needed to close it off.

I had to go out there to help with the clear up

nah, by the time I got there, the minibulk (18 tonne vehicle with a payload of 12.5 tonnes of commercial grade propane) had been recovered, all I had to do was to clear the contaminated turf, and make a temporary repair to the hedgerow, as the field is used for livestock, not bad, got paid for 5 hours, and only actually done 2 hours a bit more money for the Nurburgring trip

Indeed, I see them up there so often it's 70mph all the way aswell.

saw them on there sunday morning. Traffic police volvo estate. copper had the passenger door open and was crouched down with a speed gun. bit naughty that i though as aren't they supposed to be in clear view if using the gun?
