I was going to buy a cossie, until Betts got the Subaru.

Only one problem with the saffs, most of them have tin rot where as when I was loking at scoobs, I didn't see one rusty car and I looked at at least a dozen.

Nah youre right most saffs have rust everywhere by now, its just that brutalness that i cant get out of my system, that the scoob just doesnt have

Maybe a lottery win will see me with another cossie and an engine built by Vidar Strand

just love the name YBD Cosworth 16v Turbo!!

mind you, I'd love to have a Mk1 Lotus cortina, or the Mk1 RS1800 with the early cossie lump with a pair od DCOE's yum yum

The new AA advert with all the 'repairmen/women' singing .... You get a quick glimpse of a classic with its bonnet open and sparks coming from the engine !!!
