Smile Happy Birthday Stealth Wagon.

Yep it doesn't seem like it but the Stealth Wagon is 3 today.

Where has three years gone?

Most of it has flown by spending it in the great company of you guys.

Here's to the next three years & all it holds. And to start as we mean to go on :-

I will be making Jess a nice pair of "Pat Butcher" ear rings out of these once I have drilled some holes in them for some hooks :-

Before :-

After :-

The only thing then left to bolt behind the grill will be one of these Twin Tone Air Horns in subtle red.

Cheers David.

Yes it was a DIY effort using Jess's hairdrier & the doctor says I should have enough stress pills to last me to the end of the week.

It went ok but was a bit nerve racking. The clips in the wing were the hardest bit to get to let go.

I treated it to a bulb makeover while it was all out.So it's now got a pair of each of these :- H1 Vision Plus 50%, HB3 30%, WY21W Silver Vision and W5W Blue Vision.Much better beams all round.

Hmm will have to think about that one.

Pink as in ESC/STi pink.

Or pink as in pink.

I'm easy. But then that's always been my trouble.

Told you it was a chore to get the headlights out, it just feels like the whole thing is gonna smash in your hands

I had to get some heat to the plastic clips in the wings before they would release the headlight unit. You can see the three fixing points & the two ball joints here :-

The two halves split ok but needed the heat playing round & round the edge all the time. The same before pressing them back together otherwise the mastic starts to reset. Then I ran a bead of clear silicone sealer round the join for good measure.

You are not wrong there.I was tugging away & the car even though it was in gear was nearly moving up the drive.
