+++ Lotus Convoy +++
This is nearly upon us now so we need to organise the convoy down there....
The day starts at 12-30pm and we should allow plenty of time for the journey....
My satnav tells me that it is about 1 hour 45 minutes for the journey and 72 miles. There is a lovely pub just around the corner that we can stop off at if we are early although no alcohol at that point
I was thinking of leaving from the Duke of Wellington public house in Hatfield Peverel, it is right next to the A12 and on the way for most people. Basically you take the first exit after the Boreham interchange and then turn left at the 'T' junction.... the pub is on your left after about a mile.
If we meet at, say 10-15am and head off at 10-30 sharp.....
Any questions?

++++Change to timetable+++++
Thinking about it the timings only leave about 15 minutes leeway which isn't much really.
Therefore the timings have changed so that we will now meet up at the Duke of Wellington at 10am and leave at 10-15am sharp
The return journey is just over 150 miles so make sure you have filed up before you leave. If you have concerns about doing the whole journey on one tank then don't panic..... there are Optimax stations on the return leg...
