Had a crack at something a bit different this eve, quite pleased for a first effort.

Just trying different viewpoints to see how they come out, included a bit more car in this one Just having a play really.

God im slow tonight
Just looked @ It again , What i thought was the front bumper is the bonnet scoop
Starting to like it now , But @ a quick glance it looks like a big wide fish's mouth
Time i went to Bed

I think it is kinda cool how did you trigger the camera was it on timer, and what settings did you use to keep so much of the car in focus?

Yes, used the self timer, do have a remote release but forgot to take it with me but the self timer worked pretty well.
Settings were 1 second exposure at F5.6. Used an ultra wide 10mm lens to get most of the car in shot and when working with very wide angles the depth of field is quite large.
Brave or stupid Used my backup DSLR just in case but the suction pod works pretty well and I checked it's adhesion regularly.

No, just my old D70 Would have still been p1ssed if it had fallen off though

That's the trick with this one, was doing about 10 mph, hence the relitively slow shutter speed....

I think it looks cool! If you look quickly, the scoop looks like the front of a Charger or something??? If you get what I mean.....even I have trouble???
