Top 10 ESC Moments from 2006
The years coming to an end no sooner that it began but we seem to have crammed in a mammoth year of events. What are your best bits
In no particular order....
1. The August cruise (I think) where we had a record attendance and good weather.
2. The pee taking of Tiny following the visit to Monkey world. I didn't go but that picture of the big guy chasing the rally car made spit coffee all over my keyboard
3. Prodrive trip was brilliant. Thanks to Wozzaa for the lift and the company (and the entertainment on those tyres)
4. The Lodge in hot weather
5. Tunnel Run attendance breaking all records...and not forgetting the merchandise, posters and charity collections
6. Gangsta returning to the fold (maybe)
7. The Essex Air Ambulance donation trip
8. Getting my flamer fitted by Cornelius
Can't think of anymore but its a start...

There have been some really great events goings on in 2007 ..
1.Highlight for me must of been getting my car back from the guy's @ ABW , After 3 weeks of them having it , ( And me not seeing it )I Had a very small idea what was being done but not really 100% to sure of what the outcome was going to be , Hence my reaction when it returned , Simply stunning & To be honest re kindled my love of my car that was dwindling away slowly , Everyone pulling together to get it complete on time , Abw , Mark RB5 & Wilf
2. JAE - For all the wrong reasons - The Storm loss of the club marquee & seeing some ESC members wanting to walk away / leave the event , Made me even more determined that the event , Disco had to carry on , WE All pulled together & put on the best show of the whole event & helped to win SIDC Clubstand of JAE Out of over 100 clubs competing ,But the hassle of getting the lorry , Loading & un loading , Setting up / Taking down the whole stand area makes me wonder if it's worth bothering in 2007
3. A Trackday @ Brands hatch in febuary , Out in the slashing down rain with Spec C On slicks !!
4. The Esc golf days arrangred by YVM - All great events just a shame not 100% fully supported , But something that i hope we can still carry on doing
5. Scoobyball - Awesome weekend ~ But Sunday in cambridge was the highlight
6. WRC Germany .. Launch it , CIAF , OFP , SBU - & Cloudy - Roll on 2007 - BMW Diveman - Still not sure if he was really convinced
7. Lots & Lots of great nights out with other members of the ESC & Not a car in sight
8. Seeing the club grow & grow , Lots & lots of new faces , Shame we have lost a few of the old faces but i guess this is to be expected , The attitude of some within the club is great , Top of my head WRX Dazza ( Joined this year top bloke , Help others , Feels like him & helene have been here from the start , FLAT ERIC Esc through & through , Go's out of his way to help others & to look after new members to make sure we all get to & from the events with the aid of all his maps & fuel stop locations , Last but not least - CORNILIUS - One of those people you can call 24/7 & he will if possible help you out , One of our quitest members but one as i see as a massive addition to the ESC
9. Some great meets @ the Lodge , Not just the 3rd Thursday meets , But the Fri , Sat & Sun , meets with the bands , Disco & Kareoke & Making us feel so welcome after we were treated like ****e @ the Dick turpin
10. The revival of the HWH Meet ( Well much bettrer surroundings ) Was a laugh tho trying to find an alternative venue , Pushing the ABW car down a hill away from a radio mast
11. My Bithday here , Seeing everyone having such a great time & making my day complete
12. The ESC Fishing days were good & something i would like to see continued into the new year
13. Looking forward to leading the ESC Into another great year in 2007 , With MRS ESC & The Boss guiding me through
Sure there are lots & lots of things i have missed , But that's a start

Well 2006 has been a very busy one for the Wylie family lets start from the begining.........
1. Having a New year party and sharing it with our friends from ESC.
2. Going bowling and then to the lodge, but the biggest thing was finding out I was expecting a baby that day...........very big shock.
3. Doing a party for Wilf and all our friends attended.
4. Tiny's birthday BBQ, that was great.
5. Scooby ball what a great night, with Wilf winning a re-map.
6. Going to Jae now that was fantastic weekend, even though I couldn't drink.
7. Then Best of all was the new arrival of Baby Max, and being able to share our bundle of joy with all our friends.
8. Having a great weekend at Hales and Jane's, I got very drunk..........whoops sorry guys.
9. Going to Butlins, well what can I say.........FANTASTIC.
10. Kev'd's 40th Birthday Party, yet again a fantastic party oh and yes I was drunk.
We have had a fantastic year and we would like to wish you all a very Happy 2007. xx

first real year that i got involved with the esc. i don't get much time to get as involved as i'd like so not a full 10 for me, but:
1. ESC to Brands for the Touring cars. It was my birthday and a pukka one too, thanks to the ESC.
2. Flame grilling pitta bread using Tiny's exhaust
3. ESC go karting - i may have lost but another top outing
4. Getting the car on the rollers for the first time at an ESC RR day
5. Finally getting my pink ESC t-shirt
6. The stick i got off the family for getting my ESC pink t-shirt
7. Meeting people from the ESC and seeing what a pukka bunch of people they are.
I may be scoobyless for part of 2007 but i'l' still be hanging around with the guys 'n' gals of the ESC. There's just something about the club. You're made to feel very welcome, everyone pulls together and they're not discriminative as to you or your car. It really is a case of "if Carlsberg made car clubs......."

2006? Where do you start?
In no particular order.
1. Richard Burns Memorial run
2. Children in Need.
3. JAE especially the Hog Roast after the storm.
4. BTCC @ Brands Hatch
5. Every Posers Cruise to Southend, they just get better & better.
6. Many happy hours at the keyboard with you guys.
7. ESC Christmas Party @ The Lodge. Although it hasn't happened yet, you just know it's gonna be the best.
8. As Tiny has said, seeing the club grow & grow. And which, without his huge input & enthusiasm, would not have done so. Thanks from me personally also for his support & encouragement in what I do.
9. Being featured in the ESC calender, & getting March, both mine & Jess's birthdays.
10. Modding the Stealth Wagon from 255bhp to 290bhp.

2006 - What a year! - Hard to believe that was 5 years ago!!!
Thatwas a cracking moment when I built the 2.5 engine and it fired up the first time, - Frayz will soon know how good that feels!!
I've lost count how many flamer kits I built and fitted - though more more is outstanding for my STI!
