we would just like to say hi. and does anyone know what could cause a scrapping kind of noise sounds like the exhaust dragging but its not its also on a imprezza 4wd wagon

Without listening its hard to say.. could be worn brakes, wheel bearing all sorts.

Tell us more and i'll help as best i can, does it change the faster you go? revs? braking? cornering? rough surfaces?

Need more info. :d

As above......

I also had scraping, after fitting my mudflaps.... with the lowered suspension, they rub on the ground from time to time.

welcome

id suggest starting at the back end by looking at your diff oil, possibly the shaft centre bearing.

then check your brake pads etc..

As for the scrapping... just had a similar experience at weekend, although mine was grinding, and was rear brakes.... but Essex Subaru Breakers sorted them out for me yesterday !!

Hope you have lots of fun with the Scooby !!!

welcome dazza30.......i think the problem with the scraping noise is down to your rear break pads mate........my wagon was doing that until recently and found it to be the pads.
