Default Advice

Finally sorted me injury claim monies out so need to get started with the mods.

1. Change exhaust but what one(new or 2nd hand)mines to quiet.
2. Wheels.(New or 2nd hand)
3. A bloody good service & re-map but where & how much.

Who can help steer me & advice on any of these?

Beers on you then?

For me it'd have to be the exhaust and remap in that order. can't remember what wheels you have?

Sounds good

I've got Hayward & Scott full system on mine from turbo back. Plus a set of their headers. Can't recommend them enough. Great quality product and the service was great too.

As for the remap, i'm not sure who i would go to as i've got an early classic so would need a new ecu too. Have heard great things about Mocom.

Wheel wise, as much as i like the pff7s, there are tonnes about. Some OZ super legarra (sp) normally look good. Or the holy grail of wheels, compomotive MO.

i think i paid about £270 for the back box, £100 for the centre section. Then the decat dp and the headers i bought as part of a group buy for about £550. dp price is about £180 i think and the headers are about £700. You can get some great deals on second hand units though.

If i was buying my exhaust system again i'd go for the 3" tubing over the 2.5" though.

Hayward and Scott rule.... not sure on prices look at their site?

As for wheels.... I like the white JDM classics with std wheels. May just change to the later gold 2000 wheels? Still 16" but clear 4pots.......

I'd keep an eye on the classifieds here....

Car looks great as it is!!!!!!

equal length headers make a helluva difference but in my opinion you lose the character of the car as you lose the scooby noise.

true but your car will sound more like a rally scooby rather than every other scooby on the road
