I went there several years ago at exactly the same time of year. Was a total nightmare with queues. No chance of going on a 'good' ride unless you queued for about 2 hours plus, there were even queues for things like the log flume 
Think I went on about 3 rides all day. It even took a few hours just to get into the place. I'd never go back on a bank holiday unless I had queue jumper tickets.
Hope you have a better time than I did!
