stick with the 1.6 mate. the 1.9 is a lot heavier and messes up the handling compared to the lighter 1.6. get it bored out or stroked and fit some decent cams and twin webbers. will eat 1.9's all day long then

I was told the 1.9 block was the same, just had a longer stroke, I already have all the parts so will be sticking to that for time being.
Keeping the 1.6 gearbox though

must admit have never owned one just going on what i've read and been told before. if you've already got all the parts mate go for it.
although, don't fancy sticking an mi16 lump in it?
