Ok.I have just brought a downpipe from Ebay (gotta love that site). It was listed as a decat, but appears to be a sports cat one and is in good nick!
Had a look under the car, which is a year 2000 classic turbo. The original cat downpipe has two mounting brackets coming off, where as the new one only has 1 at the top.....will this still fit ok?
Heres the picture from Ebay:

Also, removed all the bolts from the heatshield on the turbo (why are there so many
) and attempted to undo the two top 14mm bolts on the downpipe connection to the turbo, but they just wont budge!
Any ideas or tips on getting the original item off and the replacement on would be appreciated.
Cheers all
Tony

need to take mine off as it goes. have my equal length headers to go on and need to move the lambda sensor. will have the dremmel at the ready
trouble is the blanking plug for the lambda sensor is stuck in the decat dp
if it wasn;t i wouldn't need to take the dp off. will get plenty of wd40 ready for the weekend

BTW Mneame it was a very good price......£85.00 and local enough to collect![Smile](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Seems a local Jap car spares breaker had a few classic Scoobs come in in the last couple of weeks.
