Why not try those new tyres Zak at Mocom is promoting?
Very good reviews and everyone I've spoken to as praise for them....
There's a link somewhere

would have to agree with bibo. if frayz and the like are recommending the versteins then i'd go for them if they come in the size you want. those are great prices for those from mocom too. i was looking for some versteins when i bought my tyres a few weeks back and they were a lot more expensive than what zak is doing them for.

Save all of the hassle go to Leigh Tyres London Road Leigh on Sea and speak to Steve or Henry. 01702 474711
They will give you the cheapest deal on toyos as he buys direct from the factory.

thanks for all the advice.
used vredestein before on other cars. first was an old cavalier and i remember being very impressed by the life of the tyre! i needed a new tyre and ended up buying another wheel from a scrap yard for £20 with a part worn tyre. still looked new when i off loaded the pile it was attached to!
think i'm going to give the toyos a try, having only ever driven my impreza on bridgestones.
i've also spoken to a kit car manufacturer i know reasonably well they were recommending good years for their cars, but have now switched to toyo which is interesting - no way i'm driving to sheffield just to change my tyres though!
