Default Front and Rears.

Morning All, finally fed up with the poor sound quality of the OE speakers. If anyone can tell me the make / model to do a direct replacement for those existing I'd be most appreciative.

And a step by step guide on how to do it would be the icing on the cake.

stubbsy, i went down pulse audio on the london road. top fellas in there.

put in some 6x9's rear, replacement door speakers and tweeters.

there quality on installation is top notch, as many on here will vouch for.

you're welcome to have a listen any time

2nd vote for Pulse from me as well... Top guys, very willing to help & advise, even if you're not buying a load of kit from them...

phase linear are the speakers i have, by the way.
and the rears have almost as much bass as having a sub, without the bulky boot hogging extra weight!!!

Cheers guys. On a shoestring budget though so planning to buy replacement speakers that will just slot in place of the existing, without any modification, and do it myself.

So really need to know if anyone has an idea of speakers that fit this plan.

If not, then I shall ask the chaps on London Road...

stubbsy, they sell the speakers for DIY, and will also tell you how to get the rear shelf out etc, etc... its just i know a lot of 6 x 9's need hacking about but these go straight in with a little patience.
worth a visit

i only had them fit it, as i'm a lazy impatient git, and wanted it there and then!!!
