Default selling wagon but advice wanted

Hi guys and girls,

I am selling my 98 Uk soec wagon as it was fine with one 50kg Akita but 2 is a bit of a push lol.

I have had the car off the road for about 2 months while I use the new patrol for moving the dogs around. I started the wagon up after 2 months and started on the button.

Right now for the question!! the car is 342 BHP currently with extensive engine and other related mods etc (£00,000 spent in total) but I do have a front mount at home and really want to put this on and get the car re-mapped prior to selling as I always like to sell cars knowing they are perfect (I know everyone says this)

Where is the best place local to essex to get the intercooler fitted and mapped on the apexi again?

Thanks

Lee

Seems a good site.

Can I ask what experience they have with regards to mapping cars as the map is what makes the car good or bad.

I as sure they are fine but thought I would ask

Well I will get in contact then and see what the outcome is.

I just want to get the car better than perfect before it leaves to a new home.

Sometimes makes me wonder why I have 2 big dogs and have to drive around in a diesel Nissan Patrol now lol

One with good tube and fin internals

I have had just about every jap car under the sun and although there is a big debate on length of pipes, heat soak, quality, lag etc etc etc I am very much of the opinion that a front mount is the way to go.

I personnally dont like the heat soak on the top mounts and I bought the front one in readyness for the next mod.Now it is just going on and getting mapped for the next lucky owner.

If I had a standard turbo with standard boost I would not go for a front but the car has Sti 9 crank, forged pistons etc etc so its the best way forward in my opinion

I know there seems to be big discussions on intercoolers so each to there own I suppose.

Am I guessing you would only go for a front mount if it was an expensive make?
