Thumbs up Window tints - Big shout out to these guys

Great service , Top job , AGAIN !!

Right guy's credit where it's due ...

I Called these guys 8-50am Yesterday morning to book the ST In for pimp tints all round , My intention was to take it over on saturday morning ..

Anyway chatting with the guy & he does not have enough time on sat mornings to complete the job , So it's weekdays only ( Unable to get it there during the week )

I Said oh nevermind then i will look elsewhere , Shame as you tinted my subaru a few years ago & i do not really want anyone else to do it

Then he pipes up ... Well mate as it's our 1st day back after the xmas break we have no work booked in for today

This gets me Mmmmnnn Tints Today

The guy then offers to pop out & collect the car & return it later in the day aftrer the work is complete , Now bearing in mind where we are , Ed And im speaking to this guy in Manningtree , Other side of colchester , It's an hours drive to collect the car

Anyway 5 mins later & the guy is on his way , Phones Mrs ESC To arrange collection , Leaves his vehicle @ ESC Hq & Later in the day @ 3pm The car is retuned job done

GREAT SERVICE I THINK YOU WILL ALL AGREE

( Ok he had no work booked in & i probably helped them out as well , But he never had to offer the del & collection service imho )

Pics @ the weekend

Pentagon in Manningtree are a great company with the right sort of customer care package & after sales backup. Not the cheapest around but it's a fit & forget quality job.

As endorsed & used by Flat Eric. Now where's Frayz?

One of the most difficult vinyl jobs you can do because it's a foil which gives you no room for mistakes.
Hats off to these people who make it look easy
plus not the cheapist proberly the most expencive vinyl you can buy.PROBERLY

It's great to see that there are still businesses out there that place customer service as Highly as I do, If only more companies would strive to keep their customers happy, instead of squeezing every last Penney out of there customers to meet profit target and bonuses then

We may be able to put the GREAT back into Great Britain.

Sorry for the waffle, just something dear to my heart

Well done Pentagon

Wozzaa I was amazed at how thick the SupaGlass film for the side windows is. It's 300 microns, some other so called security films are only 100 microns thick. SupaGlass is a very strong polyester laminate that is professionally bonded to the inside of a vehicle's side windows. It holds the glass fragments together when the window is broken and provides safety and security benefits, protecting occupants in the event of an accident whilst helping to resist thieves and car-jackers. Looks bling as well.

I was thinking about getting security glass when I first got theScoobs. But with the framless doors wouldn't the window, if smashed, just flop?

I see what you mean. Framed window ,as new hatch will have, has got to be more rigid. This is what they say :-

The key is that the SupaGlass film is applied to the inside face of the glass - when shattered, pressure on the glass from outside of the vehicle compresses the fractured glass particles whereas pushing out from inside you are separating the particles. Try pushing your finger into an egg from the outside, it is very difficult whereas from the inside out it is easy.

Just have to hope the thief pushes rather than pulls once he's smashed it.

Had my ST done by Terry the Tint Man near Wickford for £75 for the 2 sides and heated rear, nice job and fully guaranteed. A lot of the ST boys have theirs done there. I'll dig his number out if anyones interested.

No probs Dave, Terry's number is 07961 542533. It's actually about 2 mins from the Lodge, rather than Wickford Done in his garage/shed type thing but don't be put off.
